In short: Tinkf is a static publication. We collect no personal data about you, with a single exception — the email address you choose to give when subscribing to the newsletter. Below is who processes the data, on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you have.
The data controller is the publication Tinkf. For any data-processing matter and to exercise your rights, write to info@tinkf.com or the Telegram channel @byTinkf. Tinkf is an independent, pseudonymous project; the address above is sufficient for any request regarding your data.
If you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter, we store only the email address you provide and use it solely to notify you of new materials. The legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you confirm the subscription.
Subscription uses double opt-in: after you enter your address we send an email with a link, and the address is added to the list only once you click it. This records verifiable consent and prevents anyone from subscribing you without your knowledge.
Email delivery and storage of the address list are handled by Kit (ConvertKit), acting as our data processor. Kit may technically process email-related metadata (for example, delivery status). We do not share or sell your address to third parties for advertising.
You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe in one click via the link in any email, after which your address is removed from the active list. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
The site is hosted on the Vercel platform. Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure technically processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, request time) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in securely and reliably delivering the site. This data is handled by the provider in its normal course of operation; we do not use it to identify visitors or combine it with the newsletter list.
Kit and Vercel are located in the United States, so processing of your address (for the newsletter) and technical request data (for hosting) may take place outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards provided for by the GDPR, as applied by these providers.
A newsletter address is kept for as long as your subscription is active and is removed from the active list after you unsubscribe. Hosting logs are retained by the provider for a limited time under its own policies. We keep no separate archives of personal data.
In respect of your data you have the right to: access it and obtain a copy; request rectification or erasure; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent at any time; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to info@tinkf.com. If you believe your rights have been breached, you may lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
The publication is not directed at children and is not intended for persons under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if such data reaches us by mistake, we will delete it upon request.
The page language is detected automatically from your browser's language setting. This check runs locally in your browser and is neither stored nor transmitted anywhere.
Fonts are served from our own domain rather than loaded from third-party CDNs. The site pulls in no external font, script or advertising services.
Our materials contain links to third-party resources — the publication's Telegram channel, primary data sources and other sites. Following them takes you to resources we do not control, governed by their own privacy policies.
Questions about this policy — at info@tinkf.com or via the Telegram channel @byTinkf. If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
